The SoccerCollection project began in 1998. With computers becoming more and more a part of everyday life, a few soccer coaches sat down together to discuss how to simplify the administrative aspects of the coach’s job.

Right from the start, those conversations focused on not just soccer expertise, but also straightforward navigation and an uncomplicated interface. We envisioned programs that coaches with minimal computer experience would be able to use without difficulty.

Our first trade show, the BDFL International Coaches Conference, was in Erfurt in late July, and in October 2000 we formed a partnership, SoccerCollection oHG.

After SoccerTeam, our team-management program, we developed SoccerScout for talent scouting, and we created numerous custom versions of SoccerScout Professional and SoccerTeam Professional for professional clubs and coaches.

The SoccerTraining series, which allows coaches to choose exercises by concept and print them out, completed our product line the following year.

Clearly we were ahead of our time back then!

Today, life without the internet is inconceivable, and there are many benefits for coaches. The ability to work independently, whether at home, at the office, at the field or on business trips, can save coaches even more time, which is why we decided to offer web-based versions of our products on the SoccerWEB platform.

We were fortunate to partner with Dohmsoft, a company with extensive expertise in this area thanks to years of experience.

More and more, coaches are coming to value the kind of team management that SoccerWEB makes possible. That’s why we partnered with Creative_10 to develop our new design program in time for the 2010–11 season. Fast and easy to use, it’s an outstanding addition to our product line.
